Goodness, has Spring already arrived?
Not surprising when you look at how lighter it's been getting earlier and later in the day, although it's a bit downheartening, knowing that there won't be any more cosy nights in halls within the shorter days.
Then again it's pretty gradual and I'll still be here until around mid-June so it's not like I'm leaving altogether. It's just that the less warmer months won't really be the same from now on.
And to be honest I'll probably be spending more time here than ever as there's no point going out when everyone else is having a laugh and you're have no idea what they're laughing about.
I don't understand why they feel uncomfortable around me when having a bit of a boogie. It can't be a case of hygiene because no matter what happens, everyone starts sweating towards the end of a raucous night in the Croft or wherever, but it's not worth wasting time.
And I still stay true to my words from last night about how I'd like those to get their feet back on the ground.
Although I try to make sure I do have a spray before going to such dos or any important function.
It may be worth taking a spray on the Underground as I end up sweating on there, especially when carrying heavy stuff with me.
Either that or the spray I'm using is rubbish.
As I type I'm listening to Tony Blackburn on Smooth Radio, although how much longer, I'm not too sure.
Not because of Tony but the music played, as I don't want to hear
"I Will Survive" and ABBA being played ad nauseum.
The plan for the rest of today is Robbie Vincent on Jazz FM, and I may spend this afternoon having a long awaited look at the vintage editions I have of "Glen Michael's Cartoon Cavalcade" from Scottish Television that can be found online if you search in the right places.
Dancing On Ice is on again tonight, but I'll probably just watch the main show this week as I can't bear to sit through another helping of that dreadful "Britain's Got Talent On Ice" or it looks like that at least.
Let alone Piers Morgan's chat show that follows the programme.
It turns out that Chris Moyles's new Channel 4 game show is to go out on Sundays in the Sunday Night Project timeslot up against Piers.
Although I'm not a fan of Moyles when he's on television, I would rather watch him as opposed to the self-satisfied ex newspaper editor.
I really need to make the posts on this site more positive but to be honest,
if it was like that all the time it would just get boring.
Actually that's more a case of pot calling the kettle black.
