I'm still in a position where after discovering the amusing find on Youtube, I can't listen to or even sing the tune to "Arson Sam" without cracking up. However I must admit that even the real thing has made me laugh but with the knowledge of never to act in such a juvenile way in real life, especially in this particular episode where Norman decides to make a prank call to the fire service.
You have to feel sorry for him in the end when he gets stuck between the rails and isn't Rosa the cat sweet?
I can remember one lunchtime in the Autism Unit when this episode came up in conversation and I could barely stop laughing then, although Susan who I interviewed for my NAS podcasts, told us about someone she knew who commited a similar offence and had to pay a visit to the fire station and apologise to those whose time had been wasted.
We need a nearby team of firefighters on the halls of residence, as with the amount of times the fire alarm goes off at night, the porters are absolutley useless at responding.
I bet they can't even find the digit 9 on a telephone keypad!
