What Should Have Been In The Smoke Podcasts....

More quirky audio from my findings this time from "The Live Variety Show". You can really hear how presenters Paul and Ross manage to interact with each other and give their own take on the music played with a brilliant sense of humour. Those two have come quite a long way on the radio course this year and I really hope it goes further into the third year. And no I did not add the reverb to the clip at the beginnning!

Shuffle with Adam and Zo took a very similar approach although Adam's absent in this clip and in his place is Harjeet a really lovely woman who used to study on the CMP course in the same year as Rob Watson. The theme for the show that week was flowers which included a stunning track from the PS2 Game "Katamari Demarcy".
Adam can be heard however in the promo for the summer show at the end of the year although the quirkiness and irreverent nature confused a few daytime presenters who had to play it in their shows.

Smoke International also introduced new features to their show including "Very British" where this particular feature involves Fabian giving his own take on the popularity
of fish and chips. Worth listening for Fabian's attempt at a Cockney accent!
The area of Canterbury near Morrisons stank of a bleeding chippy for some reason or another whilst I was going to buy the fizzy stuff but on the positive side it made me want to be back in Wells, the lovely seaside village in North Norfolk in the sunset with plenty of Archers bottles on hand!
That feature's definitely given me an idea to possibly do a similar feature for the third year on my own fetish; pasta.

Also on the show was the addition of an agony aunt Dr Sheila who would answer queries from International students studying at Westminster. At least that's how it's percieved.
I'm certain that another letter that didn't get broadcast took a dig at one of the Media Theory lectuers who's been very supportive of the station!
