One of my Mum's friends and her family have come from Pinner to visit us today and have now gone to Tankerton to help out with mending our beach hut. I've decided not to come along as the weather's still pretty moderate and I'd probably end up sulking.
It's quite a stony beach as well so it's not exactly the most relaxing place although a walk across the prom wouldn't go amiss, as I've done many times ending up in Herne Bay.
After seeing footage of the Stone Roses gig and the cutaways to the fairground rides on the Indie documentary last night, Blackpool has become one of my dream destinations and a visit there would be another idea as to how to finish University. Then again the steam fair tends to set up in Sudbury around the May Day bank holiday so that may be a cheaper alternative but overall anywhere with bright lights and unexpected drops would suit me perfectly.
With the "success" of our events on campus last year I wouldn't expect any waltzers back on the Harrow Campus carpark for quite a long time.
