20 Years Improved?

I recieved a reply from Anastasia about my dissertation proposal and it appears to have paid off with just a few of the questions needing a bit of altering.

I've been asked to make a start on writing the literature review which is good so hopefully I'll come up with some sort of draft by next week even if it's not 100% brilliant.

As for tonight I've spent most of it so far tagging MP3s and watching tonight's
Krypton Factor which seems to be improving throughout the series.

I've noticed they've added a progression meter to the mental agililty round rather than just displaying the score which adds more tension,
whilst the camera angles on the assault course aren't as shaky and there are no cutaways to the shitty helmet cameras that were evident on the first show.

I still think the course itself is rather cheap compared to the original.

On that subject, one of tonight's contestants had appeared on the show before in 1988 who was Andy Eden who ended up coming third in the heats.

He didn't do that well on tonight's show either coming fourth but as Ben Sheperd pointed out, at least he didn't have the hair from back then.

I probably saw the show when FTN repeated it two years ago and may even have it on VHS along with many other episodes that were shown.

It's worth noting that there are no adverts shown in the programme but unlike most of the original series, they have to have a break in order to show the sponsor ident at the right times in the show.

As for the rest of tonight I plan to finish my lamb stew with pasta, and then head over to Intermission for a bit as apart from Autumn '07 I've never really missed a Smoke Radio event and tonight should be no exception.

Probably the classiest drinking spot on all four campuses.
