Ken Bruce is taking a few days off for the rest of this week so stepping in is Zoe Ball who is directly up against her successor on Breakfast, and best mate Sara Cox on Radio 1.
The regular features are still going however including Popmaster which today had a poor performance from a contestant who only got six points, and that was from one of the bonus questions.
I reckon another of my New Year's resolutions for this year is to try enter the competition myself as it doesn't cost anything to ring Radio 2 and it would be an excuse for everyone to take the mickey out of me if I did.
I may spend the morning watching the features on the Somers Town DVD and may go to the library later this evening when it's a bit quieter (because you do get a load of idiots in there who won't keep their gobs shut) to make some good use of time searching their video and CD archive.
Hopefully it will be time well spent.
