However now that I'm nearing the end of my Jingle Demos and pacakges,
I'll soon get round to recording a few of my own recordings and piss-takes from an early age,
not for those of a nervous disposition.
Matty ID and Jake were still about in the SADiE room and it was while we were browsing on the Radio 1 website that Jake discovered a link to a feature involving various Radio 1 presenters doing things for money as part of a money awareness week. One of them was Greg James attempting to earn some bob as a busker at Leicester Square tube station which had the banner "Will Greg Make It As A Busker?".
I immediately responded by saying that I was surprised that he made it as a disk jockey which didn't go down too well with most of the others in the room.
As you'd expect, I was laughing with at their disaproval but as far as I'm concerned,
Greg's OK but not great.
On a similar note, Phil H and Chilvers have gone into Central for a meeting discussing
"The Future Of Radio" which if I'd put a bit more thought into, I'd have liked to have gone to but I guess it's saving a bit of money in terms of travelling.
It's also unlikely that I'll be going to Smoke Radio's Intermission Night at the Marylebone Campus on Thursday, partly because I'm worried about it being musically similar to last Thursday which in all fairness isn't to my taste, and also because it will mean having to head back to Harrow on the N18 which I'm really not up for.
Anyway here's a few more photos I took this afternoon starting off with the man who could be our very own Greg James, only a lot better.
Danny Robs, a genius at work.
Stewart "Lofty" Paske with his new glasses.
General planning in the SADiE room.
And our very own "Phillip and Sarah", Maz and Oli.
Danielle from Dezza was also around to read the news during Maz and Oli's show and I hope to see her quite a bit this semester, even if she's just doing the advertising module this year.
As for tonight I plan to watch last night's Panorama documentary about rudeness on television, and have a listen to Lars Bartkuhn's latest album which if it gets my nod will be the featured album for February on the Soul Show.
It looks set to be promising.
And I may also make a start on transferring various crap off my hard drive.
