Tonight saw quite a few familiar faces gathered to remember Ben.
These included Carl from the third year CMP course, John one of the bar staff who spent quite a bit of time on the quiz machine, and Mattie was providing the music.
All of Mattie's housemates were there as well including Matt, Mike, and Josh
who I haven't seen for a while and it appears to be a
rather demanding time for them on their commercial music course
as it reaches it's end.
No photos tonight as it was a rather downbeat event, but I can guarantee that tomorrow will be a return to form for Sarah's birthday party which should be really enjoyable.
She seemed very enthusiastic about it so let's hope it stays that way for tomorrow.
I left just as they were playing "Live Forever" by Oasis which if I'm being honest, I've never really been a fan of that song but it was very fitting for tonight.
As for tomorrow it will be quite a long morning in the library having another trawl through their video and music archives so I'll call it a night for now.
And it was really good of all of his friends to organise this informal get together for Ben.
