Photo Finish (Well Start)

Following my encounter with Chris Evans last week, and as I want to have as much as I can to remember from my final few months here, I spent a bit of money on a digital camera which I hope will become a common tool on my many nights out.

I started by taking a couple of pictures of my room and it's shelves to,
well show off really.

Here's the first one,

A close up of my book shelf,

And my DVD/VHS collection

Expect a few more photos to be taken tonight, a lot of which will end up on Facebook, but others will be exclusive to this very site.

Also my hard drive is running out of space to put any new albums on so I guess it will be a visit to Brent Cross tomorrow and the nearby PC World to buy the cheapest hard drive with the most disk space.

I'm sure it can be done.

I'll need to be a bit more careful with spending but that's normally the case every year and as soon as I've got the hard drive I'll more or less be sorted.

I may even sell one of my older hard drives if anyone's interested.

Anyway, following on from the last post, Smoke Radio have posted an interesting interview with Pop Idol judge and radio legend Neil Fox, where he talks about his beginnings as a DJ on University Radio Bath where he presented a jazz funk show at the time.

I can't really imagine the Westcountry being a place where that sort of music would be popular but at least it showed that Neil did (and probably still does) have musical taste.

I also like his comment saying that student radio is a place where you can find out what you're not so good at in radio.

I know exactly where I could go with that one but I'll stop there.
