I went to Laurel House this morning, where things went pretty well and mentioned the idea of setting up a website to sell myself basically. Coincidentally enough Dad's familiar with Joomla which is what Smoke Radio uses for it's website so I may speak to either Stewart or Manish to explain how to use it although I won't use the Smoke webspace of course.
I'm now back in Harrow Halls where I've put all the videos and DVDs onto the shelf although I may need to go to either IKEA or anywhere similar to buy some special shelves to put the DVDs on as there are quite a lot of them. And I may need to buy some sort of shelf to put my books on, as I reckon there will be quite a lot more of them by then end of this weekend.
One of the things I forgot to bring back with me was my HSBC credit card bill which hopefully, Mum will send in the post to me pretty soon.
However, on the plus side the visit to Center Parks in Nottingham has been booked for the 8th of May which is good timing as it's very unlikely to be our final week of broadcasting for Smoke that week due to it being the May Day Bank Holiday on the Monday.
And the good news is that the visit is before Uni finishes overall so it won't be an anti-climax like it was in the first year when I left early to go on that dreadful visit to Spain where bugger all happened.
As for now I guess it's a case of burning things to CD or DVD, now I've got my portable
CD writer back.
