I headed back from the library at around 7am and got into bed immediately.
I ended up waking up at around 10:20 just in time to hear today's game of Popmaster, with Zoe Ball once again posing the pop questions to two callers in quite a close battle.
About 10 years ago when Zoe was presenting Breakfast on Radio 1,
one of the jingles she had included the line "By the time you get to where you're going to, Zoe Ball will be on, Radio Twoooo" (sung to the same tune as the JAM Radio 2 jingles up to 1998).
And it happened pretty quickly as she's been there on and off since covering for Dermot a few years ago.
A selection of the jingles can be heard here via the Music 4 website as originally done for both herself and Kevin Greening, and feature very good send ups of Eternal,
Rosie Gaines, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Hanson's "Where's The Love"
which the above cut was based on.
I'd probably say that they're better and more creative than the jingles Chris Moyles uses.
I probably won't spend tonight in the library although I may go in there again tomorrow morning as it's the only real part of the weekend I would want to get stuff done.
As for today I plan to finally listen to the features done by the rest of my year for our advanced project and definitely sound promising from the range of subjects covered.
I may also pop over to Sainsbury's, mainly becuase I smashed my measuring jug and need to buy a new one. Hopefully they'll have a plastic one somewhere.
