I've heard that Jamie may be stepping in to help out on Jade's show following Ana's absence which is good although they're both good shows on their own and it may take away their individuality.
Not to mention falling into the category of "incestuous" like a lot of the other shows on the station.
I can be a right moaner at times but that's because unlike a lot of students on campus I don't like Hollyoaks, I don't rely on grub from Kenton Kebabs, and really don't get stupid over indulgent joke-free comedy like the Mighty Boosh or Flight Of The Conchords.
Then again barely any of them like or have even heard of Brenda Russell,
"Gobbolino The Witch's Cat" or vintage episodes of the ITV Chart Show.
I'm lucky that I lived in an a home where my Mum or Dad were very open about what went on our television screen even if they didn't like the shows themselves.
I could never imagine them buying anything by those who appeared on Top Of The Pops
20 years ago but we still watched it anyway.
As for tonight, I went to the Undercroft for a few drinks with Chris, Phil Harris and Denis where Stoobie was behind the bar.
Quite a lot of time was spent on the quiz machine including the legendary Pub Quiz game which contained some very amusing multiple choice questions.
One of them being the referee of the 1878 FA Cup Final who's surname was either Bastard, Twatt or Kuntt. The actual answer was Segar Bastard although there is actually a place on the Shetland Islands called "Clousta Twatt".
Which reminds me that one of the other questions asked us to name the Scottish islands with the other options being either "Shitelands" or "Shitlands".
Chris was in stitches as a result.
A few photos from tonight can be seen below.
The Becmead Boys in drinking mode.
Purchasing a cheap drink from Stoobs.
The Pub Quiz machine.
Myself and Chris taking a gamble.
As you'd expect we never actually won on the machines resulting in Phil giving me taunts about being a "faliure" and I ordered him to come and have a go himself but he refused being the weedy self he is.
His defence was that he didn't want to get involved in gambling but I said that we were just doing it as we enjoyed the game itself and it was the playing that was important not the winning.
Something Goodlass and Marshall should have taken into account with regards to their success at the Student Radio Awards.
It will be me who's the loser by the end of the year and I reckon I'll be like Beck asking anyone "Why don't you kill me".
It's all going to go balls up after my time finishes here so I'd best enjoy the last few months I have left.
Even if it does involve being constantly ridiculed.
