Lack Of Academic Focus

A very early, and rather tired Good Morning.

Just about time for one post before getting the train back to Canterbury and I'm guessing that quite a lot of time after my appointment at Laurel House will be spent in my more than comfortable bed.

A very productive use of my time as opposed to getting focus groups done for my dissertation, especially as Steven made it look so easy earlier this week.

As Kylie once said however, "It's Never Too Late" and I'll probably be back again, ideally before mid-March to undertake probably a live viewing and reaction of a show such as Saturday Night Takeaway for instance to get an idea of how those above the 40 year old age group feel involved.

The big question will be seeing how anyone around my age would react, as getting them to stay in on a Saturday night would be a bit of a bugger, especially as they're either working or clubbing and getting pissed.

The Geordie Boys should bring back the "Home Run" feature from the first series where they sprung surprises in various locations such as cinemas, ballroom classes, and offered some extra bob to a lucky punter at their house.

The only catch was that no one knew if they had the money or not so on most occasions they would run home from said place in hope of getting lucky.

With the exception of Little Ant & Dec who in all respects are grown up now, it wouldn't hurt to bring back some of the older items as current ones such as "Ant Vs Dec" are a bit stale.

Then again it brings to mind Bruce's old rant on his unsuccesful "Big Night" in the late 70s about being criticised for trying new things, and criticised for doing the same old stuff.

It's a tough job but hopefully SNT won't end up in a similar boat, even if it does seem strung out at times.

Anyway, it's probably a good time to pack up and get moving pretty swiftly.
