"He's In Position, Activate The Cube!"

Tonight's Krypton Factor included a twist on the Intelligence test in the form of a knockout contest.

This involved a series of 3 intelligence tests with the last contestant to complete it (or not so to be honest) being eliminated one by one.

The assualt course this week had me swearing at the television screen after seeing
a contestant fall between the wooden planks in a painful place.
Something that I normally end up doing during Dancing On Ice whenever I see an injury.

Swearing at the TV screen of course.

When I used to watch the original series, the assualt course was my favourite round. Nowadays it's the general knowledge round although they could make the time limit longer than 70 seconds.

The solution to this would be to drop the VT at the beginning of the Physical Ability round as we don't need reminding about how "tough" the poorly built adventure playground is.

I think Ben Sheperd gets a bit of stick as the presenter however, and I reckon he's an equivalent of Phillip Schofield, as he was brilliant on T4, but has now matured to a prime time audience.

As I type, fellow Chelsea supporter Jamie is on with Show 25 on Smoke Radio where this week's theme for the first 20 minutes is comebacks with Blink 182 of course, Led Zeppelin and the Who although there was a bit of debate of whether to play "Won't Get Fooled Again" as opposed to "Who Are You" which they did.

They are actually my two favourite tunes by the band but "Won't Get Fooled Again" is just superb and brings back memories of Live 8. And they did "Who Are You" there as well although both tracks are synonimous with CSI.

And one was used as the theme to the much stolen "Mystery Voice" competition with Johnnie Walker on Radio 2 which thankfully Chris Evans saw the need to remove when he took over the show.

I've always wanted to do a "Celebrity Swears" competition on Smoke Radio which would be the same rules, only you'd have to guess which celebrity is swearing.

Probably one for the 24 hour broadcast.
