I couldn't stomach listening to Reggie for less than half an hour so I decided to indulge in a documentary about Michael Jackson's music called "The Essential Michael Jackson".
Despite being only 30 minutes in length I fell asleep halfway through and kept getting caught off guard at the wrong times as a result.
As it made me fall asleep it's probably not worth me writing about it on this site.
Although I will say that the Jacksons and the man himself improved after moving from Motown to Epic in 1976 and to this day I get irritated whenever I hear "ABC" or "I Want You Back" being played in clubs, bars etc.
More annoying than "Rocking Robin" oddly enough.
With regards to Radio 1 "Coxy" is back on weekends but with her old weekend afternoon slot now taken by Nihal, she's now doing the lie in slot on Sunday mornings between 10 and 1.
Hmmm!
I can't say that will tempt me away from Robbie's show on Jazz FM at the same time but if I'm being perfectly honest I've never warmed to Sara on the radio at all.
I really don't understand her appeal as to why she is so popular because she talks too quickly and the stuff that comes out of her mouth is just utter nonsense.
Let's face it, Radio 1's never had any decent female daytime presenters since Jakki Brambles; "Not bad for a girl!" (John Wells liner).
However one thing's still true about Sara, she's a lot more livelier than Jo Whiley.
Tonight's proceedings on "Let's Dance For Comic Relief" wasn't really too different to last week really, apart from the contestants and judges of course.
The teams and individuals taking part including cast members from Hollyoaks, resulting in me shouting "Who are they!" at the TV screen, Jo Brand as Britney Spears who was saved by the judges into the final, "Keith Lemon" and Paddy McGuinness who's Dirty Dancing routine won the public vote, a barrage of Blue Peter presenters past and present who did a routine based on "Jailhouse Rock", and another random pairing of an ex Pop Idol judge and a jungle inhabitant.
Them being Neil Fox and Nancy Sorrell, and yes, husband Prick Reeves was in the audience.
The guest judges with Anton this week were Jamelia who's overdue a comeback, and Paul O'Grady who's rumoured to be quitting his chat show this year, therefore going out on a high which I hope will be the case as the best presenters finish when people still talk about their shows being good.
It wasn't too memorable to be honest although I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being one of the main case studies in my dissertation with regards to live voting.
Ant & Dec were more of the same as well although the highlight for me was seeing Dec having to vote off Edwina Currie from his team after losing this week's challenge.
Next week involves a memory test having to remember the names of a large amount of donkeys. Not the ones who are guesting on the show of course.
I probably won't be back in the radio rooms until Wednesday for my show,
but it appears that Max DMC who's on before me has finally got a new name
for his show, "Beats And Pieces" which I think is clever and shares it's name
(just about) with an old competition they used to do on the Radio 1 Roadshow.
Although the content is nothing like that at all and remaining the same as it was which is good, and possibly continuing to end with a top D&B remix from the likes of High Contrast and London Electricity.
I plan to spend part of tonight watching the Tony Blackburn documentary which hopefully I won't fall asleep in front of.
Unlike many others possibly.
